City of Ottawa Posts Expenditures Online
Ottawa keeps charging along and has made itself a leader in local government transparency.
The city has posted its first account of expenditures online. The Times covers Ottawa’s great story in progress here.
Thanks to the hard work of Liberty Leader, Caroline Campaigne, and the quick response and leadership from Financial Commissioner Dan Aussem, Ottawa is well on its way to open, accountable, and better government. Good job.
