Transparency Pledge Highlight and How-To
A reminder to all candidates and current members of the House and Senate:
All who are committed to supporting transparency in government are welcome and encouraged to sign the Illinois Policy Institute’s Transparency Pledge, which you can find here: http://www.openillinois.org/transparency-pledge/
The pledge has been available for signing since June 2008 and was sent to all House and Senate members last fall — and sent to all mayoral candidates this past spring. To see who has signed the pledge, 91 in total so far, check out this link: http://www.openillinois.org/transparency-pledge/
The Institute also welcomes quotes from Transparency Pledge signatories, which we can include with their name in our online listing of signatories.
