On Tuesday, the Illinois Policy Institute offered a training and information session on twitter and tweetillinois.org. Before the session, tweetillinois.org had 14 State Legislators and 3 Caucuses that were on twitter. Throughout the course of the day, many Legislators, interested visitors, and reporters came by our table in the rotunda to see what the site was about.

The training session was a way to offer State Legislators a one-on-one walk through of how Twitter and tweetillinois.org worked as well as why tweetillinois is a useful tool for connecting with constituents. By the end of the day, we had signed up 9 new State Legislators.
