Want to get involved in making Illinois government more transparent? The Illinois Policy Institute is developing a team of Liberty Leaders to work for transparent government in Illinois. Whether you are getting involved in politics for the first time or you are already involved with another group or a political party, we need your help. We are looking for a broad range of state and local volunteers who are united by a commitment to protecting and promoting liberty in Illinois.

Liberty Leaders are revitalizing citizen participation in Illinois government, participating in local board meetings, writing letters to the editor, calling their elected officials, and teaching their communities about practical ways to restore accountability and transparency to local government. From issues ranging from budgeting to transparency to education reform, Liberty Leaders are organizing around the issues that are important to them…and they are making an impact!
