Peraica Signs Transparency Pledge
Cook County Commissioner Tony Peraica becomes the first to sign the Transparency Pledge. Peraica who represents the 16th district, has been an strong supporter of transparency. On February 4th, he introduced a resolution to put the check register online, which subsequently passed earlier this month. His action and initiative in Cook County is making news and increasing transparency and accountability in the budget process.
