Seven Sign Transparency Plegde Over Weekend
This week the Illinois Policy Institute received seven signed Transparency Pledges.
Six of the pledges came out of Palatine Township, with current Clerk Kevin O’Connell signing it Monday. The other five signings were candidates for office: Joe Gump, Jan Wood, Duncan Swenson, Hal Synder, and Elizabeth Marcin.
The other Transparency Pledge came from Downers Grove District 58 Board Member Scott O’Connell.
To date, there are 58 signed Transparency Pledges, with more signing it every week. A blank pledge is included on the site for those interested in signing it or bringing it to their elected officials.
