Like we have said before, the CTA needs transparency. In order to get its budget under control, find wasteful spending, weed it out, and clean up the budget — rather than letting budget mismanagement and waste continue, “solving” the problem by raising fares over, and over, and over again and throwing blame around — implementing transparency would provide the first step to solving the CTA’s budget problems.
WWBOD? What would Barack Obama do? Seriously… why are Illinois “elected officials…talking…that the Barack Obama presidency will do much of the heavy lifting” to shape up the CTA?
